Genesis 28:15 (ESV)

Jacob was leaving the family and the home he grew up in and running from his brother who pledged to kill him. He was going to a place he had never been to live with people he had never met and marry someone he did not know. He was leaving security and living in insecurity. His first night on the road he slept and in a dream God Came to him saying: "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised" Genesis 28:15 (ESV). Lord, when I face problems and uncertainty remind me of your promises to those who obey you that I would have peace. Confront me with my disobedience and give me a passion to be obedient that I would fulfill your purpose for my life and experience the peace that comes from you alone.
