Exodus 2:11-12 (ESV)

"One day, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people. He looked this way and that, and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand" Exodus 2:11-12 (ESV). Moses was a murderer. Thinking this shocked me. I want to make an excuse for him. . . that it was necessary to save a man's life, but the Bible doesn't justify it. God did not give up on Moses; he made him into one of his most powerful servants. Lord, I want to always believe that you can transform anyone. Help me never to give up on anyone because of their past.
