Exodus 2:9-10 (ESV)

God is so constantly amazing. Pharaoh wanted to destroy the Hebrew boys, but his daughter finds a Hebrew baby boy. "And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, (Moses mother) 'Take the child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.' So the woman took the child and nursed him. When the child grew up, she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, 'Because,' she said, 'I drew him out of the water'" Exodus 2:9-10 (ESV). Pharaoh, who wants to kill the Hebrew boy children, pays for a Hebrew woman to nurse a Hebrew boy. The Hebrew boy is a part of his family, and this Hebrew boy will lead the Hebrews out of Egypt and destroy the Egyptian army. Lord, you cause your greatest enemies to do your work and not even know it. When it seems your enemies are winning, remind me of this story so I will never be discouraged.
