Numbers 18:6-7 (ESV)

"And behold, I have taken your brothers the Levites from among the people of Israel. They are a gift to you, given to the LORD, to do the service of the tent of meeting. And you and your sons with you shall guard your priesthood for all that concerns the altar and that is within the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood as a gift, and any outsider who comes near shall be put to death" Numbers 18:6-7 (ESV). It is sad that some people see being asked to serve God as a burden, but God sees it as a gift for us to be able to work with him. Then he gives us the people we need to help us as another gift. Lord, I thank you for giving me the gift to serve you. I can see in all that you have asked me to do; you have also sent many people to help and support me. Thank you for allowing me to have a little part in your great plan of building your Kingdom.
