Colossians 2:8 (God's Word)

We must measure everything we read and hear against what the Bible says. "Be careful not to let anyone rob you of this faith through a shallow and misleading philosophy. Such a person follows human traditions and the world's way of doing things rather than following Christ" Colossians 2:8 (God's Word). Lord, help me not to be controlled by what I have always heard, thought, and believed, nor by being caught up in the latest fad, but as I read the Bible, let me hear you clearly through all the human noise.
