Genesis 12:4 (ESV)

This is what a person of faith does. "So Abram went, as the LORD had told him,..." Genesis 12:4 (ESV). Life is not that complicated if we just do what God tells us. It is only complicated when what God tells us to do we don't think it is a good idea, or we don't want to do it. Sometimes I know what God wants me to do and I intend to do it, but I put it off and actually never do it. Lord, help me today to do exactly what you tell me, even if it is costly in time or effort, or if it does not seem urgent to me. Help me to put what I know you want me to do as my top priority that I will be a person of faith.
