Genesis 6:9 (ESV)

"These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation, Noah walked with God" Genesis 6:9 (ESV). I wonder about these ancient followers of God. They had no Bible, church, or Holy Spirit to guide them. God must have placed in every person some sense of what is right and what is wrong. Noah lived in a culture so wicked that God destroyed it. Without any support he lived a life that pleased God. I have the Bible, church, books, and the Holy Spirit, and I can't live without disobedience. Noah was righteous, blameless, and walked with God. Lord, be patient and continue to forgive and transform me that you could say that I walked with you.

"Peter and John went to Samaria and prayed that the Samaritans would receive the Holy Spirit. (Before this the Holy Spirit had not come to any of the Samaritans. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and the Samaritans received the Holy Spirit" Acts 8:15-7 (God's Word). Mark 14: 57-61 (God's Word) Originally published 10/26/2013 "Then some men stood up and gave false testimony against him, but their statements did not agree. We heard him say, 'I'll tear down this temple made by humans, and in three days I'll build another temple, one not made by human hands.' But their testimony did not agree even on this point. So the chief priest stood up in the center and asked Jesus, 'Don't you have any answer to what these men testify against you?' But he was silent" Mark 14:57-61 (God's Word). I can't imagine the pain of being scourged or nailed to a cross, but I do know what it is like to have people say things about you that hurt.
