Genesis 21;17-18 (ESV)

God has done a lot more than what is recorded in the Bible. "And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, 'What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is. Up! Lift up the boy, and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make him into a great nation'" Genesis 21:17-18 (ESV). God's work is bigger than we will ever know in this world, and perhaps in Heaven we will learn of what God did with Ishmael and what he did in China and all the rest of the world. Lord, you are overwhelming to me. You are at work in every country, community, and in every person in the world at the same time. How humbling to think that you listen to me and guide me.
