"Whenever Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he would remove the veil, until he came out. And when he came out and told the people of Israel what he was commanded, the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses face was shining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with hm" Exodus 34:34-35 (ESV). This is a great example of what prayer is. When we pray, we cannot hide ourselves from God because he sees us for who we are and knows what we have done. There is no secret from God. And when we have been in real conversation with God, we cannot hide that from people. When we tell people what God wants us to tell them, they know we have been with God. Lord, you have exposed my failures and weakness already today; please forgive me and give me the strength I do not have. I ask that you give me your words for those to whom I must speak.
