Leviticus 20: 8-9 (ESV)

Human culture works correctly only if we live by God's instructions. "Keep my statutes and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you. For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him" Leviticus 20:8-9 (ESV). Parents live by God's rules and children, who defy the authority of parents, are defying God. God raises children through the parents. This is God's plan for the world. Lord, you reveal to me my own need for submission to you. Give me wisdom and passion to obey you in every part of my life so that I might be like you.
