Hosea 11:1-2 (God's Word)

When I talk with "rebellious" children, they usually don't think of themselves as rebellious, but they think that their parents are too strict, don't understand their situation, or are old fashioned. They think the problem is the parents, or those in authority. God said: "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and I called my son out of Egypt. The more I called them, the farther they went away. They sacrificed to other gods--the Baals, and they burned incense to idols” Hosea 11:1-2 (God's Word). I have found that spiritually rebellious people are the same as rebellious children. They don't see themselves as rebellious, but that their situation is different. It is a different world, and what the Bible says is old fashioned, and it does not fit their situation. But God sees rebellion and disrespect for himself. Lord, give me a spirit of submission in every situation, even if I don't understand why you ask things of me.
