Amos 7:7-9 (God's Word)

There are all kinds of ways to measure a church. People look at the building, the music, the preaching or the friendliness. But God has his own way of measuring his people: it is by whether or not their lifestyle or behavior matches his expectations. "Then the Lord said, 'I'm going to hold a plumb line in the middle of my people Israel. I will no longer overlook what they have done. The worship sites of Isaac will be destroyed, and the holy places of Israel will be in ruins'" Amos 7:7-9 (God's Word). Lord, I want my only goal in life to be pleasing you.
