11 Timothy 2:1 (God's Word)

Paul knew from experience that when we are following Christ, he asks us to do things that we as humans cannot do. Here is his secret: "My child, find your source of strength in the kindness of Christ Jesus" II Timothy 2:1 (God's Word). When God asks us to do difficult or painful things, he knows we are not able on our own,. but when we try to do what he asks us, he is like a parent, who sees his child trying to lift something too big for him, and in his kindness he helps. Lord, when I look at what you ask me to do, help me not to look at how hard it is or how limited my ability is, but to think of how limitless your wisdom and strength are and how kind you are to help me do what you have asked of me
