Hebrews 9: 26-28 (God's Word)

In the Old Testament time animals were sacrificed for people's sins. "But now, at the end of the ages, he has appeared once to remove sin by his sacrifice. People die once, and after that they are judged. Likewise, Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of humanity, and after that he will appear a second time. This time he will not deal with sin, but he will save those who eagerly wait for him” Hebrews 9:26-28 (God’s Word). Jesus died for the sins of all people, but he will save only those who are eagerly waiting for him. Lord, teach me to see this material world as temporary and to eagerly long for eternal spiritual world.
